In the 1980s, Antonio Pereira was working in New York for various concrete construction companies when he was persuaded to come to Northern Virginia and start up his own company as a subcontractor for larger companies. He did so in 1989 and opened New York Concrete Corp. It started as a very small company with just a couple of employees. Antonio Pereira always had a dream of one day making the company a success.

Antonio then handed the company to his son, daughter, and son-in-law in the early 1990s. Today New York Concrete Corp. has grown to be a large reputable company that is still based on the principles that Antonio has taught us, which are honesty, integrity, and excellent quality.
